Young New House Kid J Lektro has been producing his own tracks since the age of 12. Being a tekkie since near birth J has been using a computer since he was two years old. Possessing major knowledge of computer software the world of electronic music was just the arena for this talented DJ. It took a visit from a friend and well known house producer to bring over a music software program to launch his career. It didn’t take long for J, 12 years old at the time, to get the party started. J does a lot of his own production now and also works on some production and engineering with DJ Ellery Cowles. Later another special friend in his life, Paul Barry introduced J Lektro to various DAWS. Being exposed to rock, dance, pop, reggae, classical,R&B, blues, new age, rap and disco at an very early age, it influences him in in his productions. J’s roots span many musical genres and eras of music through his bloodline. J Lektro has begun doing mixes and spins at house parties locally and has spun at internet stations for his mixes.
