Chellz, one of Brooklyns finest is a prolific lyricist, born and raised in East Flatbush on East 93rd Street, straight out of the same hood as the infamous MC Lyte a pioneer in the rap game. The 90s can once again say they gave birth to another phenomenal female MC. Growing up, Chellz was influenced by many genres of music. After getting her first taste of being in the studio and performing on stage she was hooked to this music called hip-hop. She began rapping at the age of 12, performing with her younger brothers in a group called MAC. Disturbed by the lack of creativity and originality in the work of many artists Chellz, is prepared to take the rap game to the next level for Female MCs. With her unique style and fresh perspective, Chellz takes her craft very seriously. She began creating her re-mixed versions of songs to popular industry beats killing tracks with her unique style and punch lines. You can find Chellz at open mics and showcases throughout NYC, giving people a taste of what is yet to come. Chellz is coming into her own ready to show the hip- hop world there is a lot more to talk about then the usual. Chellz appeals to every one of all ages.
