The only word I can think of to describe my weekend is AMAZING! I got to go to the Drama Desk Awards and spend some time walking around with my mom in the city! First, we went to our hotel which was really neat. The floor in the bathroom shower had wood on the floor and the showerhead was one like on MTV cribs were it is on the ceiling and it comes down like rain. Then, we got to go to the Drama Desk Awards Pre-party and then the award show. All the presenters were really funny and I got to see famous people like Brooke Shields and Catherine Zeta-Jones and Anne Hathaway and Kristin Johnston. When the show was all over there were huge buses waiting to take us to the 48 Lounge. The food was really good there and there were soooo many people. I got to walk on the red carpet and get my picture taken like a real famous person! It was so exciting!!!! I got to stay up way past my bedtime which was really cool too. I think I went to bed at 2am. The next day we got to tour the MET and Juilliard. I hope to be able to go there one day. Bust most of all I want to act and feel the same way all the winners felt wen they won there awards. You can tell how much they appreciated that they won it and they were proud of themselves at what a good job they did. I am glad I got to be there to see it. It makes me want to work even harder to do what I love to do. Just like dancing! I had an AMAZING time!
