My name is Mike Leins and I am a writer, illustrator, and freelance artist. My name is Mike Leins and I am a writer, illustrator, and freelance artist. I specialize in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash, and have considerable experience with Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and After Effects, among others. Comedy writing is an activity of mine, largely in the form of film and television screenplays and spec scripts.
I have experience as a freelance artist, designing logos, websites, flyers, web banners and animations for companies around the United States. I taught computer graphics at a high school, instructing students on the elements of design, color, form, layout and editing. I have acted as production assistant on many short films, operating boom mics, lights, and performing digital file transfers.
My desired career is to serve as showrunner for an animated series in the comedic style of South Park or Family Guy. I am currently developing a few series ideas and working with others to make animated shorts.
