Niva the soul diva is a singer /songwriter entertainer extraordinaire. Niva has a passion for music and entertaining. Niva started her career in Houston TX. Niva had a very hard life in Houston and suffered terribly in many ways. Niva used music as an escape from the things going on around her. Niva came to New York city in order to move her career along. Niva was so passionate and dedicated to her music career that she left everything behind in Houston. She got on a bus to new york city with nothing but hopes and dreams. Once niva arrived in new york she did not even have a place to stay. Niva's great talent, push and drive attracted good people and good opportunities and Niva blossomed into Niva the Soul Diva. Niva writes many songs about female self esteem and domestic abuse. Niva's music video 'Pretty Butterfly' gained Niva alot of attention with it's message of self love. Niva the Soul Diva has opened shows for aretha Franklin and has performed at the most famous venues in New York. While Niva has accomplished many of her goals, her ultimate goal is to have major label representation and to tour and perform all over the country and the world.
